Help us moderate, write and more!

Right now there are only the three co-founders running the show, and only one of us is actively managing the items, profiles, writing news, and updating our social media channels. This is several full-time jobs on top of an existing full-time job.

Becoming a Moderator

Over the years we've had some help moderating the site which basically boiled down to a few people looking for mistakes, merging/deleting duplicate items, and approving profiles. The future of moderation on the site will be a bit different but we generally still need help managing these tasks.

What do I get?

Essentially the title of 'Moderator' on your profile, a cool badge, our undying gratitude, and maybe some fun gifts here and there ... as well as joining our private Slack group. Who knows what will happen in the future, but that's about it at the moment.

Responsibilities are pretty light:

• Check in on the site a few times a week
• Review new & updated items, profiles, etc across the site
• Crop & resize some images (remove backgrounds with remove.bg)
• Communicate any thoughts/issues in our Slack group
• You don't need to know everything about toys (some stuff if helpful)

You know how to write words good & stuff

Currently Keegan is doing all the writing (including this) and he isn't very good. While my experiences with artists & manufacturers, the work they produce, and the collector community at large could be interesting to some ... varied opinions would definitely be helpful for the scene.

We're using Medium.com to manage our publishing. We built a publishing platform for our first release of Trampt and it was a nightmare so we're not repeating that mistake.

So what do we need help with?

• Upcoming item releases or events
• Unboxing content (videos a plus)
• Opinions pieces about the scene
• Interviews with artists, venues, etc
• Recapping an event, release, or signing
• Content for our specialty channels
